Diamond Certified Expert Contributor, Stanley Costa: All right, so today I would like to introduce you to a few tips on how to clean your house. You know its one of those things that people do not realize but if you use a methodology that makes their life a lot easier and the results much better.
Let’s say you have a two-story home and you want to clean the home by yourself, always start from the top. The top level first and then the bottom. If you do it the other way around, what’s going to happen is the bottom part of the house will be dusty and you don’t know why but you clean the bottom and then clean the top and everything that is up there will come down. You see gravity in this case is not your friend.
As you go to each room, what you need to do is also follow a methodology. You see, if you wanted to make sure the cobwebs are down, you want to take them down with a little brush or what have you, do that first. Don’t clean the floor first, leave that for last. You clean that and then you also choose a corner of the room and then you have follow clockwise or counter clockwise as you clean it so you don’t forget anything. See, it’s very, very simple. I know you say probably not that simple but trust me, follow a methodology and the results will be much better and more enjoyable.
So, when it’s time to clean your refrigerator, what’s the best way do it? A lot of people understand and discovered benefits of steaming and it’s available anywhere pretty much. You can buy a small device that will do the job. If you steam inside, you avoid the chemicals that are in these general cleaners to go into your vegetables. Imagine a closed environment, you should always avoid a chemical that is in there lingering with your vegetables and your meats.
The steamer that you buy you are not going to use just for refrigerators, you can use it around the house. I’ll give you one example: when your garbage disposal starts to smell a little bit you can definitely use that as well because the bacteria and it’s no chemicals involved. Its friendly to the environment. Remember its just water, nothing else involved.
