One of the common misconceptions that people have about roofs is that they're maintenance free. And once the roof's installed, it's there and you don't have to worry about it. And that could be far from the truth. A lot of things can happen after the installation, even of a brand new roof. Wind and different types of elements can have, you know, a great impact on, on the condition of the roof.
I recommend every two to three years, no matter what type of roof it is, to have it inspected. Have it looked at, looked at by a licensed roofing contractor who can you know, see any issues or problems that might be current or possibly there in the future. And by doing this, you can eliminate a lot of headaches later down the line such as leaks and dry rod and, and issues that are going to cost you a whole lot more money than doing some maintenance that may be needed at that time.
