A lot of customers that I feel that don't know about plumbing is the pressure for the water going into their house. Every house should have a PRV, which is a pressure regulator valve outside their house for the water going into the house. A lot of times the pressure is too high, which can blow faucets, pipes stuff like that.
Your normal pressure should be at 60 PSI. Different cities have different water pressure going into each building depending on what's going on around the building. If there's construction going on, the pressure can regulate different pressures. I would recommend having your house pressure tested if you do not have a PRV.
Even if you do have a PRV installed in your house, to regularly have it pressure tested. Just to make sure that your PRV, because PRVs do go bad. And to make sure that everything is working properly and how it should be.
