When you're doing your landscape project, the most important thing is drainage. You always want to have proper drainage, like surface drains, French drains, and channel drains if it's on a driveway. Just depending on what project you're doing, drainage is critical in every aspect of the construction phase.
You never want to use that Home Depot or Lowe's pipe because it's A plumber can't snake it nor hydrojet it versus SDR rated if you have a root growing in there. They could always come out and clean out the pipe and it doesn't burst nor crack your pipes. Poor drainage could cause foundation problems, settling of your house and also puddles all over your property.
That's why it's critical to add French drains, surface drains, and connecting your downspouts all the way to the street on solid three inch or four inch SDR 35 pipe. French drain pipes should have, should be three or four inch with holes facing downwards instead of upwards. You should always hire a professional because you don't want to face these problems in the future.
