keep these ideas in mind next time you select a sheen for your bathroom or kitchen project.
depending on the traffic, depending where it's at. Inside your home, a regular sheen would be an eggshell for the walls in the more traffic areas. And then kitchens and bathrooms would be a heavier gloss. Because there is a lot of cooking going on and then there's a lot of moisture. In a bathroom, we would use a heavier sheen because of the moisture. The sheen helps protect the wall so the moisture won't go inside the drywall and you don't have mold or other possible problems in the future. In a kitchen, I always recommend a higher sheen. There's a lot of cooking going on, so we want to make sure we maintain the walls clean and easier to clean.
