My name is Cambria Hands, General Manager at the Floor Store. Our mission is helping families turn their house into a home by providing a hassle-free flooring solution with a personal touch. I'd say the most important thing is the fact that we are family-owned and operated and have been for the last 37 years. We are the largest stocking retailer in California, and we have a creative, personable, and caring staff. We have nine stores throughout the Bay Area. Our average experience by store is 20 years, more often than not it's more than 30 years of experience in one store. We have extensive training throughout their career with the Floor Store. Not only is the training focused on products and material and installation because that is very important, but we focus a lot on design and trends and colors and upcoming colors so you can always be confident that we are giving you the most expertise that we can possibly offer. I think something that's really important and sets us apart from all of our competition is in every single situation we always put ourselves in our customers' shoes. And if there is something's gone on with the project and for example I need to come out and take a look at it, or a store manager or even a salesperson needs to come and look at the project if we wouldn't accept it in our own homes, we don't expect our clients to. And I think that goes a long way in this industry. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but it's how you take care of it in the long run and that's really what sets us apart from our competition. We were recently honored being a part of the top 25 specialty retailers in North America. We've also received numerous awards from Mohawk for being their Mohawk retailer of the year. All of this is important to consumers for the simple reason that we're big enough to do something but small enough to care.
