. . My name is Jay Furlong, and I'm CEO of Stanford Painting Incorporated, and we're located in Mountain View, California. Here at Stanford Painting, over the last 36 years, we have specialized in custom home repainting, refinishing. This is everything from home remodels to new homes, and also just maintenance painting inside and out. We've been in this area for 36 years, and we've painted almost over 10,000 houses in that time in this area. I started Stanford Painting on my own in 1988, and I was just going to work a couple of years, and pay off my student loans. But after about the second job, I ended up hiring a couple of guys, and we've steadily grown ever since then. In the 90s, we got up to about 10 to 12 employees. I was doing all the estimating and running the company, and in the early 2000s, we got up as high as 40 employees. We currently run about 20 painters, and of those 20, the average time with our company is well over 20 years. Recently, we finished a large interior, multicolor nine-color paint job. I think it was for a client, and by the time we were done, they were so happy with us. We have already gotten two referrals from them. One that we're halfway through now, and the other we're getting ready to start. And one of the neighbors of the person that we're working on, they're having us do their work too.
