Hi, I'm Matt Johnson, owner of Matthew W. Johnson general contractor. We do kitchen remodeling, bath remodeling, and put additions onto residential houses. We make homes warmer, bigger, and more energy efficient. I've been in business for 27 years. I started in the trades in 1974, worked as an apprentice for four years through the California apprenticeship program, and so I have been trained. I worked commercial work for a number of years. I worked as project superintendent on a few projects, and so I do have the background necessary in order to be able to do the work that needs to be done, to schedule the work, and to take it through to completion. When we do projects, we make sure that not only is the final product complete and of good quality, but the entire experience that a homeowner has during the process is something that they can be grateful for, something they can look back to as a great experience. My lead Foreman has been with me for 18 years. I have another Carpenter that I use periodically; he's been with me for six years. I use CAD programs. I have large format Printers in order to be able to do 24x 36 in drawings that are required by the city so that we can take care of everything necessary that a homeowner would want to have accomplished, whether it be the concept, the design, the drawings, dealing with the building department, the inspections throughout the process, and bringing the process to a complete, enjoyable completion.
