. Hi, I'm Mike Wakering, President of General Roofing Company. General Roofing Company offers complete roof services that includes the re-roof and installation of steep slope Roofing, flat Roofing, roof coatings, roof repairs, gutters, and skylights. We are certified by Certainteed Company, which is a composition CH manufacturer, as a Select Shingle Roofer. Less than 1% of the total Roofing population in the United States achieves the status, and we're proud to say that we have. So, we were able to install a roof system that will be warranted for the life of the roof. We try to find out the customers's concerns before we ever start a job, whatever that may be, whether it be protecting a garden or a rose, anything of that nature. We try to find out the concerns ahead of time, and then we make sure that we have good foremen that are trained in the way that we do the work. Mike Rodrigus and myself both visit job sites at least once to twice a day to keep quality control under control. The company was founded in 1924. My great-grandfather was part owner of it at that time with his partner. It's been in my family since then. It's went from my great-grandfather to my grandfather. In 1952, we moved to the current location we're at and went from my grandfather to my dad. And now I'm working in it as well. We founded our company on the three principles my grandfather believed was so important: craftsmanship, integrity, and reliability. And if anybody calls us, we are going to adhere to those principles and try and put not just a roof, but a roof system that will serve you for many years. .
