Hi, I'm Dana Meyer, Dana Meyer Auto Care in Albany, California. I've started this business April 1st, 1975. At Dana Meyer Auto Care, we repair many, many different kinds of cars, probably too many. One of the things that we do is specialize in answering your questions. If we don't work on your car, we'll give you an idea where to work on it. But we do work on a majority of the domestic vehicles. We work on the Asian imports, nameplates, and Volkswagens as well. The first thing is that we're experienced, and we know what we're doing. We're not competing with a cheapy oil change place where they don't have trained employees. I have people who take the ASE tests, people have taken trainings. I have somebody who's taken training on hybrid and electric cars. So when somebody says they have a problem, we have the experience to work with it. We also have the tools to work with it. We spend a lot of money on scan tools and other testing tools to make sure that when we come up with a diagnosis, we have the answer. And why should you come here? Almost every person is going to say, "Well, we're going to fix the car. We're going to charge you the right amount." All of those things. So what we try to differentiate ourselves by doing is treating the customer as one of our friends. Somebody that is the most important person in this transaction - the car. I don't care if it's a brand new car or a really old car. Our job is to satisfy the customer's need to have that car be safe and reliable. In the garage, we have four hoists. We have four employees. All four of them have continued to improve over the years. And I'm confident in giving them just about any job to any one of these guys. We have several steps in quality control. One of them is that the most important is after the car is repaired, on the road test, the noise or the problem is supposed to be gone. If it's not, they bring it back. We do say to customers that we try to live up to our name, Dana Meyer Auto Care, that we care about our customers.
