. Hi, my name is Sol mill. I'm the owner/operator of certaPro Painters. Here at certaPro, our main focus is residential painting. Your home's, other people's homes, inside and out. We do dabble a little bit in commercial work - hotels, offices, restaurants, things of the sort. But our main business focuses on people's homes. What we like to do is sit down with you, understand exactly what you're looking for, instead of detailed outlook and what the house looks like, how you want this to look, what processes you want us to follow. We like to educate you, the customer, on different ways to do things, and we allow you the opportunity to say this is exactly what you want. Once we're able to capture that, we'll provide a detailed contract that has everything specifically laid out, so there's no discrepancies in what the scope of work should be, and that way we can deliver it exactly what you're looking for. So, our guys are fully trained and equipped to do the job at hand. We've been in business for 14 years now, specializing in Oakland and Berkeley. We're used to hill steep terrain, challenging preparation techniques. Our guys are well-trained working with homes of the sort. We do weekly training sessions quarterly and yearly for more in-depth training solutions. Very good at what they do. It's a different science in painting homes in the Oakland and Berkeley area, and our guys are well equipped and trained to handle. Something we had a customer who was doing some of the remodel work to their home, specifically getting shingles replaced on the outside of her house. She was acting as a general contractor, so we educated her on the process, what steps should be taken, what should go first, second, third, and in the construction trades. It's hard to manage different contractors and no schedules and what to look out for. We walked her through the process. We did some preparation before the shingles came out. We came back afterward to clean up and repaint everything, and she was absolutely amazed at our professionalism and how we were able to organize the entire job to bring about the best possible solution for her.
