Hi, I'm Andrew Gy, the owner of Best Chimney Sweep Dryer Vent and Air Duct Cleaning. Well, what we do is chimney cleaning, sweeping, and inspection. We clean dryer vents, and then we also do air duct cleaning for the central furnace, heating, and air conditioning. What happens is when you burn woods, Creo will build up in the flu, and if you get enough of it in there, it can ignite and basically turn it into a Roman Candle. So, what we do is we come in, we clean all that out. We'll inspect the flu, make sure there's no cracks or if anything's disconnected. As far as dryer vents, kind of the same thing. Lint will build up in the line, overheat ignites it, it's very flammable, and the obvious happens. Also, too, it'll help break down on the time that it takes to dry, so it'll help, you know, energy-wise. As far as air ducts, just if you have asthma or breathing problems, it, what happens is dust. If you don't stay on top of your filters and whatnot, dust will accumulate in the system. So, every time you turn it on, whether it's your heat or your air conditioning, it just recirculates that stuff through the air. You know, you're using your fireplace maybe three, four months out of the year, depending on the season, whereas your dryer vent, you're using all the time, for the most part, especially if you've got a large family. And again, too, if you've got a situation where it's venting through the roof or you've got an LA freeway under your house, that stuff's going to build up.
