Can you do out-of-state moves?

No. We have a permit to operate within all areas of California, but we can’t move clients in or out of the state. Most of our moves are within 50 miles of our Walnut Creek facility.

Can you move large or heavy objects?

Absolutely. We have experience moving safes, pianos, hot tubs and other large items. Also, our custom moving trucks are 9 feet high to allow for more space than usual.

Do you charge extra for packing and moving services?

Accepted Answer

We do charge for packing labor and supplies, but we don’t charge extra for moving heavy objects. Even pianos and hot tubs are included in our hourly base rate.

Can you help senior citizens move?

Yes. We understand it can be hard for older people who are moving out of their homes. They may have raised their children and lived their whole lives in that one house. We’ll take good care of their belongings and treat them as carefully as we’d treat our own.

Do you provide storage?

No, but we’re happy to help pack and unpack your storage unit or help you decide what type of unit you need.

What are your top tips for people who pack their own belongings?

Accepted Answer

The biggest thing is to make sure your items are well-protected so nothing gets damaged or broken during the move. Movers can’t be responsible for breaking items they didn’t pack if there’s no damage to the boxes—if that happens, it means items weren’t packed correctly. You should also think about what you’re moving. If your mattress or couch is old, consider leaving it behind. Those items can be expensive to move because they take up time and space, so go through your items beforehand and get rid of anything you don’t want to bring with you.
