A lot of customers are concerned about having fish because predators raccoons, birds might eat their fish. And there are ways to mitigate some of those issues. One being depth is very important. If you get to about a three foot depth or deeper, we, Typically do not have any issues with raccoons at all.
However, birds, it could be 20 foot deep and birds can get into a pond. We'll sit next to a pond for an hour before one pops its head up. So some of the solutions that we have is that the ponds can be installed with a motion detected sprinkler that can spray it at birds or other animals actually to keep them away.
Another solution would be a fish cave or just keeping a good depth in the pond.
