If you're considering doing a foundation repair, why would you use a helical pier? And what, what is a helical pier? Basically, it's a giant screw and it's, it's really as simple as that. You're not removing soil out of the ground. It drills in and it supports your house. And that's the, that's the, that's the very simplest way of stating it.
It's a steel pile that is drilled in. We use a torque monitor which tells us how much force it takes to cut through the soil. I. E. How strong is the soil? We know at what depth we need to drive that that helical that it's in strong enough soil that it will hold the weight of your house. So very simply put, Helical piers are big giant screws we put in around your foundation that can either just stabilize your house or we can put a brackets on there and we can lift and level up your house and your entire foundation all in one go.
