The reason being is whenever that day happens, that your sewer line starts to clog. You know, that there's gonna be a smell outside your home and not inside your home. So it's really important to make sure that you have a sewer cleanout that says sewer. In the front of your house. And also the caps are really important. You don't wanna plug it, you wanna relief plug it.

So when the sewer does come up, it comes out of this hole and not inside your tub.
