Asien’s Appliance, a fourth-generation family- owned business, was founded by John F. “Frenchy” Asien in 1948. His first tiny storefront gave him just enough room to display a few appliances and allowed him to add retail sales and installation to his services.

In 1958, “Frenchy” turned over the store to his son Ken and Ken’s wife Grace. The business grew rapidly under their direction. In 1978, Larry Asien joined the company to carry on the family tradition. In 1988, Paul Gwilliam started with the company and became part owner in 1999. Asiens merged with Appliance Solutions in 2004 bringing on Chris Wilhelmsen. Larry Asien has now retired, and Paul and Chris share ownership.

Asien’s Appliance sells, installs and maintains all major household appliances including ovens and ranges, refrigerators and freezers, dishwashers, microwave ovens, washers and dryers. They carry brands such as GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Sub-Zero, Miele and Wolf. All brands come with manufacturers’ warranties. Any problems are handled promptly by Asien’s Appliance’s own service personnel.
