Established in 1963, Wheel Away Cycle Center is known as a “mainstream” store where people buy bikes for family use, beginning at ages 2 to 3 years old. The store also caters to a limited market of highend road and mountain bikers. The business was started by Ric Paul’s father in 1963 and has operated as a family business continuously since then. Mr. Paul took over recently and both his wife Carol and daughter Noelle work with him at Wheel Away Cycle Center. The staff at Wheel Away Cycle Center knows the products they service and sell. Their repair division is a high-quality operation and a great place to have a bike serviced by top professionals. The people who work there have been with them for years. COMPANY
PHILOSOPHY “We treat our customers as we would like to be treated. We’ve been voted “Best Bicycle Shop” by readers of the Mercury News and Metro for our top service, selection and attitude.” EXCERPTED
