D. Cook Construction is a general building contractor specializing in remodels. The company has been building since 1981. The company’s initial focus was building semi-custom homes. While they still build new homes, their core business has shifted to remodeling, additions, and structural repairs. They handle residential remodels and tenant improvements throughout Monterey County. Before getting his contractor’s license, Mr. Cook studied architecture and this enhances the translation of the design concept into the reality of a pleasing and functional completed project. The company members enjoy collaborating with clients in providing design/build solutions. They take pride in integrating structural changes seamlessly with the style of the existing building.
