Summit Electric, Inc. was founded in 1968 by Richard Dashiell. His son, Laurence Dashiell, took over ownership in 1986. In January of 2006, the parent company became Summit Technology Group, Inc. to encompass their electrical contracting division, their 24/7 electrical service department, their voice & data networking division and their home automation & home theater division. New name, same great services all wrapped up into one.
