Jon Aikele’s first construction experience was at the age of 8, when he did miscellaneous jobs for the people who were building his family’s home. He got involved in roofing full-time after graduating from college. In 1987 he opened Roofmax in Concord.

Roofmax is a full-service roofing company licensed by California as both a Roofing Contractor and General Building Contractor. Because of this expertise in numerous construction areas, Roofmax can handle other issues (dry rot or electrical work, for example) that often arise during the process of roof replacement or repair.

Roofmax works with all types of roofing materials and also installs gutter systems and skylights. A dedicated project manager remains on each job from start to finish and acts as a personal liaison between the construction crew and the homeowner.
