Ray Strasser, owner of Strasser's Automotive, has made a lifelong career out of the automotive industry. His love for cars led him to start his own company back in 1967. Strasser's Automotive has been a part of the Hayward community since 1972 and has occupied its Dollar Street location since 1977. The shop does every kind of automotive repair from simple oil changes to replacing transmissions an rebuilding engines. They work on foreign and domestic models, trucks and recreational vehicles. Strasser's Automotive is also known for doing exceptional work on classic and muscle cars. All mechanics are ASE Certified and have factory training and certification for a variety of vehicles and systems.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY
"At Strasser's Automotive, we strive to accurately assess your vehicle's condition, take the time to describe the problem and show it to you complete services in a timely and efficient manner. We won't push you to make repairs that aren't necessary, and will be happy to discuss what work needs to be done now and what work can or should be scheduled in the future. Our mechanics are experts in their field, and are happy to speak directly to any customer that has concerns or questions. Because we are thorough and meticulous in our approach to our work, we rarely have a customer return with the same problem."
